How it Works
Collect eligible containers
Most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard drink containers between 150ml and 3L are eligible.
BRING THEM TO US
Bring your containers to us! No sorting needed — just show up and we’ll take care of the rest.

DEPOSIT YOUR CONTAINERS
Use our machines or hand them over — your containers will be counted quickly and responsibly recycled.

Earn a refund or donate
You’ll receive 10 cents for every eligible container returned. Keep it or donate it to a local cause — your choice.

Containers for change
Containers for Change is Queensland's recycling program that offers 10 cents for each eligible bottle, can, or container. Aiming to reduce waste and promote recycling, containers must be clean and returned to points like Drop Zone Recycling. The program has successfully recycled billions of containers, aided community fundraisers, and created local jobs.
